Published June 26, 2009 @ 03:23PM PT
The major news of the week of course, is the death of Farrah Fawcett, a leading female cultural icon. Between her death and Michael Jackson's - it's been an emotional week for those who admired each celebrity.
Additionally, there were a lot of other news stories related to women's rights. Here are some of the top pieces I found:

Its pretty damn sad that we still let the bible thumpers dictate the laws in regards to women's reproductive issues...Especially considering how outdated the bible thumpers are and continue to be.
As for the infidelity thing...At the risk of pissing off the women...I could never find a woman with power attractive simply because I wouldnt be attracted to power in the first place...Now, if she has a good personality and attitude then she's very likely gonna get my attention.
As for the powerfull men attraction...Well, I honestly wish that women wouldnt find power attractive simply because it makes them look desperate, dependant and unworthy of being empowered themselves...I mean, come on...Women dont wanna be valued just for their physical attributes...Right ?
What makes them think that us men dont want or need the same consideration ?
Ive never had any power to speak of myself BUT I have been "valued" by women for money and it didnt make me feel good about myself at all...Rather, I felt used and undervalued.
