Friday Femme Fatale: Astronauts, Welfare & Real Women

Published October 09, 2009 @ 04:21PM PT

It's been yet another crazy week. From live-tweeting at the United Nations conference on disarmament to meeting Women for Women International founder, Zainab Salbi, to being surprised (but not shocked) at how far anti-choice lawmakers will go to take away reproductive choice - I can say with a lot of relief, "Thank GOD it is Friday."

In case you had a busy week just like me, here are some of the stories you may have missed from the fem-o-sphere. Enjoy.

Ms. Jen, anyone who has ever read one of my comments already knows how, "anti-large government," I am. I don't have a degree in Social Economics, Philanthropy, or Business, and I wouldn't expect anyone to understand where I come from, unless they've walked in my shoes. What I do have, is a masters in poverty, ethnic discrimination, and a bottom-feeders view of our country.

So for all of you do gooders, humanitarians, and economic- specialists, I would love for you to read the above articles, (pertaining to my state,"California") and understand me when I say,"thanks,"but "NO THANKS!"

We don't need charity, we don't want welfare, and we don't want hand outs. WE WANT JOBS! Not the "Obama kind," which pick and choose by ethnicity, and will only last a few years; REAL,"SUSTAINABLE,"INCOMES!

(Arnold Schwarzenegger, your a swine. If you think hostile welfare tactics will motivate these women to seek employment, then your as stupid as you accent!)

For all of you, that hate people collecting welfare, take heed; your states will soon look like mine, and you'll probably find that everything you've worked hard for your whole lives, will be gone. These bureaucrats pass mountains of legislation, from unfounded environmental acts, to the highest cost of employment in the U.S. All of this has taken our jobs, our economy and sent it overseas and to neighboring countries. How can we survive on $8.00/ hour? or raise our families on $8.00/hour? People can't even afford to hire employees, with the astronomical price of work-mans comp. Welfare may be horrible, but it brings peace of mind to women with children. Being called,"lazy,"or,"racial slurs," is a small price to pay, for knowing your child will have food and medical care.

These women are educated,(I know a few that do have their masters degrees,) and if you think they don't work; try raising 3 kids alone on $1,000/per month, when your rent is $900/month. Many of their husbands are in prison, but usually it's for drug convictions or other violations related to poverty.(I know I would sell drugs to put a roof over my children's heads.)

For anyone who reads this, please, hear my cry;"animals rights," this goes for you too....stop passing legislation for animals to have more "breathing room,"while children in my state, are sleeping in their cars.

Give us our industrial and agricultural jobs back. For those who can afford it; pay the $6.00 extra dollars for American- made clothing;(keeps people off welfare.) STOP GIVING TAX BREAKS TO THE WEALTHY! THEY SHIP OUR JOBS OVERSEAS, SO THEY SHOULD PAY IMPORT TAX!

We can, and we will work. Give my state a chance, give these mothers a chance. Unbind us from these laws, that make rich people richer.

-any mom that reads this, please do me a favor. If your child has ever been discriminated against because of gender, ethnicity, or economic status; get you butts over to the "Gay rights" cause, and sign their petition that will allow them to marry. These may not be your children, but these are all of our children. Do the right thing-
